A well-known British school, which offers private K-12 education in Chengdu are currently looking for a Primary School English Teacher to start in August 2025. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified teacher (PGCE, QTS, teaching license, SACE or similar) with at least three (3) years of relevant teaching experience.

1. Bachelor's degree or above
2. A qualification or training in university and careers guidance is preferred.
3. Proven experience of advising and supporting students with university applications internationally, particularly for universities in the UK and US;
4. Previous experience in teaching a subject with a focus on iGCSE and A-Level;
5. Previous experience in working in an international school in China is preferred.
6. A willingness and commitment to contribute fully to the life of the pupils and school beyond the academic day, including active participation in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes.

The school itself is a century-old prestigious UK School, that opened its second international campus in September, 2015 in Chengdu. The school currently offers secondary level education to Chinese nationals , however, they are already planning to extend their offer to include all K-12 grades. The school, with both day and boarding options, plan to accommodate 1,200 students once the new campus will be fully operational. The main language used in teaching and working is English.
